If you would like to learn more about what inviting me to your school or community for educational outreach might look like, I am happy to offer two examples of my residencies! Easily adaptable to suit your needs, this is a starting point for us to discuss and plan events that share the joy of music with students as young as kindergarten or at the high-school level!

"Music is Fun!"
For Elementary students as young as 7 years old, this residency focuses on teaching basic music concepts through an eclectic selection of music: pop, movie and video game music from the 20th-21st century, as well as staples of the classical repertoire will be heard. If Orff instruments are available, they can be incorporated in a multitude of ways for the students to interact and play music based on various topics!

Music: the art that ties worlds together
In this Residency we take a look at how music is interconnected to various other forms of art in a multimedia experience for the students. We examine: visual art, spoken word, writings, and finally how music connects us all through the human spirit. Other topics to discuss include: techniques on memorization, practicing, performance anxiety, healthy and well-being, as well much more!
